We would like to invite you to the closing event of the Interdisciplinary Education Programme (IDO) on Thursday afternoon, November 6, 2025. During this inspiring meeting, we will look back on the most important developments in interdisciplinary education at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ—and look ahead to the future. 

In addition to interesting workshops and presentations on topics such as the Organizational Guidefor Interfaculty Education, the Design Tool for Interdisciplinary Education, an integrative method such as design thinking, and many examples from faculty collaborations, there will also be a panel hosted by Danish researcher Katrine Lindvig. Lindvig contributed to the book Key Texts on Interdisciplinary Higher Education, which was edited by ‘our’ Dean Iris van der Tuin and includes commentaries from many UU colleagues. The official book launch will take place at the end of the event. Key Texts on Interdisciplinary Higher Education is the first book to bring together the most important texts on interdisciplinary teaching and learning, all drawn from the growing, peer-reviewed knowledge base on the subject. The book is available via  and as an e-book via UU . 

In addition to Lindvig, Rector Wilco Hazeleger, Vice-Rectors Ted Sanders and Manon Kluijtmans, and UU and UMCU colleagues Carlijn van den Boomen, Frank Coenjaerts, Bert Le Bruyn, Annet van Royen-Kerkhof, and Bald de Vries will also join the podium
