Esther van Andel, MSc.

" Nice to see you here! My name is Esther van Andel and I finished my Master Science and Business Management in 2018. Like many students who choose this Master I was curious to what the business world had to offer to an analytical person with a background in Science, in my case Biology. As it turns out, a lot!  With my 2 years working experience at FrieslandCampina as Supply Chain Coordinator, I am working in a very different field, but can still use the exact thinking obtained from my Bachelor that is required for my job every day. During SBM I have learned complementary skills like presenting and working in different group projects simultaneously, which have enabled me to communicate better at my current job. At the Careers day on the 1st of April I am happy to elaborate further on the switch from Science to Business being a perfect fit for me! See you there! "

Beatrice Plazzotta, MSc.

She ventured in the world of private companies as a product manager 鈥 somewhere in between marketing and technical expert 鈥 before eventually coming back to the European Commission to work in knowledge management. Here she focuses on providing scientific insights on the future of energy, to support European policies and ensure they rely on a solid scientific basis. Beatrice will share her insights on how you, as a researcher, are welcome to join the European Commission!鈥
