A Plea for a Social and Ecological Urbanism
The current ecological crisis will transform the face and fate of cities. How will people live in those cities in the (near) future? And how can we combine sustainability and sociability? The new publication ‘Neighbourhoods for the Future’ explores the possibilities for better cities by focusing on the neighbourhood level; a scale between home and city, between intimacy and anonymity. A book by Maarten Hajer, Peter Pelzer, Martijn van den Hurk, Chris ten Dam and Edwin Buitelaar.
