Research Planning and Time Management
Target audience
Anyone who wants to improve their planning and time management skills.
Course description
PhD candidates are expected to manage research, administrative and teaching obligations. In practice, these demands mean that it can be hard to balance research and other duties and to find a focus and set priorities. This course, consisting of a workshop and an individual meeting, helps you to improve your planning and time management skills. Related topics such as working style, causes of stress, procrastination and the relationship with your supervisor will be addressed as well.
I learned how to be more realistic while planning, and how to make a long, mid-term and weekly plan. I gained more insight in my personal situation concerning the planning and timeframe of my PhD.
Entrance fee: This course is free for GSLS PhD candidates.
