Target Audience
This course can best be followed at the start of the PhD track. It helps participants to understand current literature, identify important factors for study design and get a firm statistical basis for data analysis.
The course is organised by the Julius Center, UMC Utrecht. There are 15 free spots for GSLS PhDs.
Course description
The aim of the course is to bring all students, irrespective of their prior knowledge, up to the necessary level to enable them to participate in other statistical courses. In order to achieve this aim, you will be tested on your statistical knowledge at the start of the course. The results will give you an insight into your own statistical strengths and weaknesses, enabling us to provide you with specific advice on how best to participate in the course.
I liked the quality of the lectures in combination with clear chapters in the book and enough room to practice.
Entrance fee: This course is free for GSLS PhD candidates
Location: E-Learning
