Things don’t just happen, people make them happen. The same applies to sustainability. While I was certain I wanted to study this field, the vast array of study areas intrigued me. What drew me to Utrecht was the interdisciplinary approach, merging natural, energy, economic and social sciences. This perfectly aligned with my interests and aspiration for a complete understanding of sustainability issues, solutions and opportunities. With my now broad overview of sustainability and resolute commitment to action, I aim to transform global environmental challenges into opportunities for a more sustainable future.
