Webinar Elaine Fahey: Framing Convergence of the EU with the Global Legal Order

On Thursday 11 March 2021 (15.00-16.00), professor (City, ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of London), Jean Monnet Chair in Law and Transatlantic Relations at the City Law School (City, ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of London), will give a webinar on ‘Framing Convergence of the EU with the Global Legal Order’.
In this online seminar, professor Elaine Fahey will present the concept of ‘convergence’ of the EU with the global legal order, based upon her recent book: (2020, Hart Publishing).
The book captures the actions, law-making and practice of the EU as a cutting-edge actor in the world promoting convergence 'against the grain'. The book analyses the subjects and objects of convergence and the role that the EU plays in trade and investment law and policies.
The webinar is organised by RENFORCE’s research group on the EU’s value-based international trade law and policies.
